Dr. Mirsafian is a partner at Blue Capital Law Firm. He has extensive experience in a variety of intellectual property matters, particularly in client counseling, domestic and foreign patent drafting/prosecution, patent portfolio management and strategy, and opinion work.
Dr. Mirsafian has drafted and prosecuted numerous patent applications relating to aerospace and automotive technologies, renewable energy technologies, medical devices for heart and spine treatments, control systems, complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, optical systems, communication systems, electronics and software, and technologies involving complex mathematical modeling of dynamic systems.
Dr. Mirsafian has significant technical expertise in all aspects of aerospace and mechanical technologies. He worked as a Research & Development engineer for Aerotech Engineering and Research Corp, where Dr. Mirsafian performed research and development on a variety of government-sponsored projects related to missiles, aircrafts and submarines.
Dr. Mirsafian is admitted to practice law in the States of California and Illinois, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Dr. Mirsafian earned a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering in 1989 from Wichita State University, an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering in 1991 from Wichita State University, a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering in 1996 from University of Kansas, and a J.D. in 2000 from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
