Bryan L. Ngo is an attorney with a practice focused primarily on finance, bankruptcy, real estate, corporate, immigration and tax law. Mr. Ngo earned his Bachelor's Degree in economics from U.C. Berkeley (1993) and his Juris Doctor (JD) from the U.C.L.A. School of Law (1997).

Mr. Ngo is admitted to practice law in the State of California, and he is able to practice before all State Courts of California, the United States District Court and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in all of the following districts: Central District, Southern District, Eastern District and Northern District, and the United States Tax Court.

As a former senior counsel associated with two of the largest international law firms in the world, Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP¹ (with 1,200+ lawyers) and Brobeck Phleger & Harrison LLP² (now defunct), Mr. Ngo has represented various institutional banks (such as Citibank, Wells Fargo, Foothill Capital and Banc One) in the origination of commercial loans intended for securitization and represented borrowers and lenders in various asset-based and real estate related financing transactions. Through and with the attorneys at his firms, Mr. Ngo had served as outside general counsel to a number of businesses on a wide variety of matters, stemming from corporate transactional, real estate, tax planning³ and litigation issues.

More recently with the Financial Crisis of 2007-2009, Mr. Ngo has been actively serving as bankruptcy counsel to clients (both corporate and individuals) throughout the State of California (in Central District, Southern District, Eastern District and Northern District) in various Chapter 7, Chapter 13 and Chapter 11 reorganizational proceedings.

In addition to Mr. Ngo's insolvency practice, he continues to represent a number of high net-worth individuals in trade financing matters, credit financings, international commodities transactions, as well as various real estate investors and developers in many aspects of real estate development, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, formation of joint ventures to develop real property, financing and construction contracts.

As a principal shareholder of Blue Capital Law Firm, Mr. Ngo continues to serve as outside general counsel to various businesses, whereby he advises various early stage companies on corporate governance, formation issues and strategic planning, including providing counseling on sophisticated tax planning, financial restructuring and immigration matters.
